- I really wanted to love this book because the others in the series were so good but it just fell flat for me. It felt like the start of a brand new series to me instead of a continuation and the characters seemed very one dimensional. I never felt a connection between the main two characters, and found Mali's obsession with her sisters demeanor and facial expressions distracting. Just didn't seem to be a natural progression in the series either. All in all I'm not sure I would read the next one.
- I read the first book in this series a while back. I liked the way it flowed so i kept an eye lut gor more stories in that world. Mali and Raul are... eloquently suited to each other. They complement each other. They function together and apart. And while Mali's naivete is innocently charming, her growing awareness is also an intriguing storyline. Side note seeing someone you've known forever in a new light always takes guts. Well written. A new keeper for my collection.
- I am really enjoying this series especially the dog's, they are great and I am remembering my beloved Trixie who although not a rescue dog but a very smart and great pet.

- Another great story with a great GSD . It was exciting, fun, action packed and a Love story thrown in.
- I have always been a big fan of Piper Drake's books, and her newest one is no exception! It was excellently written with a great storyline, likeable characters (especially Taz) and details that made me feel as if I were there. I always look forward to reading her books. A definite must read!
- I liked this book, but found it to be more about the soldier instead of the dog.
